In the past five years, technology has come a very long way. we have developed new ways to create life, and new ways to communicate. just think, 5 years ago we were at the iPhone 5s. Now we are making way the the iPhone 11 Max Pro Green Addition. It is mind boggling just how far we have come from five years with the advancements in technology. Just on the iPhones alone, they have developed facial recognition software, just to unlock our phones.

The real advancement of the last five years is something called artificial intelligence. The actual definition of Artificial Intelligence, or AI for short, is the proven theory that an inanimate technological machine that are able to preform tasks that usually need a human brain to do. It can do in credible things like visual perceptions, speech recognition, decision making, and can translate languages into others. AI is not like Ultron from Avengers 2, because most of the artificial intelligence machines do not have a form. People have worries about the “robots taking over” but that is never going to happen. The future of autonomy is going to be more human like, and not less human.

We cannot forget, that we made these AI machines so therefore, we control them if there is ever a moment where the machine goes off protocol. There are machines being developed that are literally controlled by human’s movements, and it mimics their movements.

There have been other breakthroughs in technology in the last 5 years, but one that is worthy to be touched on is the 3D printing advancements that people have developed in the past five years. we went from printing tiny little trinkets in the 80’s to printing huge objects. Recently, an entire house was 3d printed in less than 48 hours. This is an entire new way of looking at architecture. In some time in the future, there could be entire buildings that were made by 3d printers.

The future of technology is limitless. Technology has come such a long way within the last five years and it will keep growing forever because there will always be something else to invent and understand and also undercover about technology.
