Hello all readers,
Today, in this age there are so many advancements in technology than there were even before 2017. It advances so quickly in so many ways and forms to help us out in out daily lives or our work lives. one of the many technological advancements in the past years have been 3d printing. Now I know what you’re thinking right now, 3d printing was obviously invented decades before last year, but I’m talking about a different type of 3d printing, a new type. Before, 3d printing was just a big hobby for people and designers producing prototypes of a product, but now, people can actually use it to do some real good in building. People have discovered the breakthrough of 3D printing metal. This mea s that if you build a big enough machine for it it could potentially create parts and beams for buildings using the metal it prints. According to MIT Technology Review, the article states, “if widely adopted, it could change the way we mass produce many products.”
There has been a breakthrough in the literal creation of life as well. Students at The University of Cambridge, have been studying how to grow a realistic mouse embryo using ONLY stem cells, and no sperm and egg like embryos are usually made. This completely redefines the way we think about the creation of life itself. I encourage you to respond to see what you think about these breakthroughs in technology.
You provided interesting information about 3D printing I previously didn’t know. Being able to contribute to infrastructure and biological research are two really good purposes to continue research into advancing 3D printing.
